What Is Accessible Tourism?

Accessible tourist destinations are developed jointly by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization, and local governments. These barrier-free destinations are designed to make travel easier and more comfortable for everyone. They enable all visitors, including people with disabilities, older adults, and families with infants and young children, to enjoy traveling without mobility barriers.

Yeosu Marine Park: An Accessible Tourist Destination

Stretching 1.5 km along the coast from Yi Sun-sin Square to the Hamel Museum, Yeosu Marine Park is a public park and an ideal place to relax while enjoying Yeosu’s beautiful nighttime seascape.
Located in the heart of the city, the park offers panoramic views of Hamel Lighthouse, Yeosu Cable Car, Dolsandaegyo Bridge, Geobukseondaegyo Bridge, and Janggundo Island. Visitors can stroll along the waterfront at night and enjoy a variety of performances and events held throughout the year.
