A Signing Ceremony of the Local Corporate Body Base for Tour de Korea 2015 Convention Ju, Cheol-hyeon, Mayor of Yeosu City, watched the public relations video of the local corporate body base together with the 160 parties concerned including Lee, Chang-sup, Chairman of the Tour de Korea Organizing Committee, and held a commission ceremony of the public relations envoys and a signing ceremony at Olympia Hall of Seoul Olympic Parktel in the morning on the 7th. Tour de Korea is an international road cycling competition convention recognized officially by International Cycling Union, sponsored by Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, and superintended by Korea Cycling Federation and the Tour de Korea Organizing Committee, and this year‘s convention shall be held in the whole places of the national 8 base cities including Yeosu for 8 days from this coming June 7th to the 14th.The staff of the Organizing Committee promised that it shall establish the prestige of this convention as the supreme Asian international convention together with the base cities of Tour de Korea through this year‘s convention, and mutually cooperate for the expansion of cycling culture engaging the whole nation and for the promotion of local tourist industry and regional economy.  The total distance of this convention which shall be held as a competition on the road sections is 1300㎞, and it is scheduled for 8 days starting from Pusan on June 6th through the course of Goomi~Mooju~Yeosoo~Gangjin~Goonsan~Daejeon to Seoul.   The 200 and more of competitors from the 20 teams and the parties concerned who are supposed to arrive at Jinmo District in Dolsan, Yeosoo at 2:30 in the afternoon on June 10th are expected to receive a welcome greeting from the residents, and after they finish events such as the free medical examination, social service activity (Support of the local children‘s center with sports supplies and free repair service of bicycles), and casting lots for gifts, they shall go to The Ocean Hotel for lodging.The team of players shall leave for Gangjin which is the next stop from the World Exhibition Grounds at 10:00 O‘clock in the morning on the following day.
