Yeosu is located in the middle of south sea of Korean peninsula.Toward the east, the city is bordered with Namhae in Gyeongsangnam-do Province and toward the west bordered with Goheung Jeollanam-do Province, toward the south with Jeju Island, and toward the north with Suncheon-si.
Geographical Features
Mountain ranges and hills are stretched out smoothly toward the south with relatively few plains. Around Gamak Bay and Yeoja Bay, the archipelago spreads in the shape of a butterfly.
