The "Second Ainarae Playground" opens in Yeomun Park on the 20th.
According to Yeosu-si, the "Second Ainarae Playground" has 16 barrier-free play facilities of 13 types, including a combined play area and slide, as well as water toys, toilets, showers, and a resting area, and it can accommodate more than 200 children at once.
Children under the age of six are not permitted to enter, and those under the age of six must be accompanied by an adult.
The water play facilities are only available between July and August.
"The "Second Ainarae Playground," created with the support for Dongdong Ainarae Playground, is equipped with water play facilities to create a space where children can play in nature during all four seasons," an official from Yeosu-si said, "Ainarae Playground is expected to help Yeosu become a happy city for raising children."
In the meantime, Yeosu-si invested 4.7 billion won to promote the "Yeomun Park Ainarae Playground Creation Project," whose construction started in June 2022 and was completed in December.
When the forest playground in Yeomun Park District 1 is completed in 2023, it is expected that it will be reborn as a local theme park frequented by many children.
